Mr. MAJ. Florin OGÎGĂU, Head of IT Compartment at DRESMARA, participated in the meeting of the NATO Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Working Group within the PfP Consortium of Defense Academies and Security Studies Institutes held in Vilnius, Lithuania, during the 19 -21 April. Twenty-eight representatives of defense education and training institutions from NATO and partner countries took part in this activity.

    During the event, there were discussed the current aspects of distance learning, how to apply new online learning methods, new technologies used in computer-assisted education, problems with ADL programs in military education systems, and international experience in the field of security.

    Initiatives in the field of e-learning as well as potential projects which can support the educational needs of organizations have also been presented.
